Shellroute is developer proxy infrastructure. This policy defines what constitutes acceptable and unacceptable use of the Service. By using shellroute, you agree to comply with this policy.
Permitted use
shellroute is designed for legitimate developer and business workflows, including but not limited to:
- Geo-testing and localization QA
- Browser automation testing (Playwright, Puppeteer)
- Public web data collection (price monitoring, search tracking, marketplace research)
- Ad verification and placement checks
- CDN, redirect, and performance testing
- AI agent and automation debugging
- CI/CD pipeline integration
- Academic and business research on publicly available data
Prohibited use
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Illegal activity — any use that violates applicable local, national, or international law
- Credential stuffing and account takeover — testing stolen credentials or attempting unauthorized access to accounts
- Spam and phishing — sending unsolicited messages or impersonating others
- Malware distribution — distributing viruses, trojans, or other malicious software
- Payment fraud — carding, unauthorized transactions, or financial manipulation
- Inventory hoarding — sneaker bots, ticket bots, or similar mass-purchase automation
- Harassment and abuse — targeting individuals, doxxing, or coordinated attacks
- Private data collection — scraping personal, protected, or non-public data without authorization
- Excessive load — causing denial of service or degraded performance for third-party services
Your responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring your use of shellroute complies with applicable laws, site terms of service, and this policy. Shellroute provides network routing infrastructure — what you do with that access is your responsibility.
Enforcement
We investigate reported violations and may take action including warnings, temporary suspension, permanent termination, and reporting to law enforcement where appropriate. We may cooperate with legal authorities when required by law.

If you believe shellroute infrastructure is being misused, contact [email protected]. Include as much detail as possible — IP addresses, timestamps, and the nature of the abuse.
